What are java games?

Java games are java applications that can be downloaded to your mobile phone. once downloaded you can play java games as often as you like without occurring any additional charges i.e. pay once play any time.

Note that to download a java game your phone needs to be WAP enabled. The download typically takes about 1 minute over WAP. ( Check with your mobile operator for charges relating to WAP usage, it normaly cost around 10 pence a minute but will vary depending o­n your subscription).

STEP 1: Ensure that the game you want to order is compatible with your Nokia 7210. Some games are not available on this phone. Select Nokia 7210 under mobile types to see all games that are available on this phone.

STEP 2: Ensure that your mobile phone is setup for WAP. If you are not sure contact your mobile network operator.

Note: Before downloading Check that your WAP session mode is "Permanent". To do this go to Services (under main menu) - Settings- Edit Active Service Settings. Scroll down to Session Mode. If Session Mode is "Temporary" you must set it to "Permanent" in order to download games.

You are now ready to order your game by calling 0906 123 1701 (UK) and 1580 600 846 (Eire)
Note that you will be asked for the following:

Your mobile phone network,

Your mobile phone make,

Your mobile phone number

The product code for your game.

Receiving your game.

After placing your order, a Message will be sent to your phone.

This appears in your service inbox. Your Nokia 7210 will automatically go to your service inbox o­nce the service message is received. Highlight the Service Message and select Options Retrieve.

(You can find your Service inbox under Services in the main menu.)

After about 20 seconds you will be shown a description of the game. You must now select dnload to download your game. After the download completes (allow up to 60 seconds) you will get the message application saved.

NOTE: If there is insufficient memory on your phone you will be asked if you want to delete some existing applications. Highlight the applications you no longer need from the list presented and delete.

Playing your game.

You can play the game at any time by selecting Applications from the main menu and
choosing Select app. You should find your game in the list of applications. To play: highlight your game and select Options Open.

(Note you will NOT see your game under the menu item Games as it is stored under Applications).

After your game has been successfully downloaded it is a good idea to delete the Service Message as it is no longer valid. To do this go to Services/Service Inbox, highlight the service message and select Options Erase.
